Trinity Community at Fairwood, formerly Fairwood Village in Beavercreek, acquired by United Church Homes

United Church Homes recently announced the acquisition of Fairwood Village, a 61-unit senior housing apartment community located at 1956 North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek, Ohio. The acquisition is a key element of a broader strategy being pursued by UCH to expand its presence in the greater Dayton market, while also diversifying its range of capabilities for providing senior living services.

Fairwood Village represents the third United Church Homes community in the Dayton area, joining Trinity Community, a 216-unit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) that provides residential, independent and assisted living accommodations for seniors, in addition to skilled nursing services, on its 40-acre campus in Beavercreek, and Trinity Community at Fairborn (formerly Patriot Ridge), a 110-unit assisted living and skilled nursing facility located in Fairborn.

As part of our ongoing efforts to integrate the branding and positioning of UCH entities, Fairwood Village will operate under a new name, Trinity Community at Fairwood.

Rev. Kenneth Daniel“We are very excited about adding Fairwood to our family,” said Rev. Kenneth Daniel, president and CEO of United Church Homes. “We’ve worked closely with the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene over the past year on this initiative, and believe there is a strong cultural alignment of vision, mission and core values between our faith-based ministries. Not only will it enable us to offer a new service line for local residents, but will also solidify our geographic concentration in the Dayton community.”

United Church Homes is also considering further expansion in the Dayton market. As of October 31, 2015, the organization’s ministry currently includes 68 senior housing and healthcare communities in 13 states and two Native American senior housing communities.
