The affordable community made up of 80 spacious apartments is located about 55 miles south of Pittsburgh. UCH will provide support services and equip the community with the necessary tools for residents to enjoy modern technologies in a safe and robust community.
Meridian Point launches UCH into the state of Pennsylvania expanding the company to 81 communities in 15 states and two Native American nations. The UCH senior living portfolio consists of independent, assisted, affordable housing, skilled nursing communities and service coordination.
In 2021, LeadingAge Ziegler 200 ranking named UCH as the 21st largest multisite nonprofit senior living organization in the U.S., serving more than 5000 residents.
UCH has been on a growth plan for quite some time, acquiring middle-income senior housing communities and expanding its management role on its mission to help more older adults live their best lives.
“The senior living industry is changing rapidly,” said Terry Spitznagel, Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer. “UCH has a solid strategic plan for how we can continue to evolve our services to not only meet – but exceed – what older adults are looking for.”
