Celebrating 50 Years of Service: The Trinity Community at Beavercreek Kicks Off Golden Anniversary with Year-Long Festivities

Beavercreek, OH (Aug. 9, 2024) United Church Homes’ The Trinity Community at Beavercreek is proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, marking a half-century of dedicated service to the Beavercreek community and beyond. The year-long celebration kicked off with a series of exciting events, starting with the annual golf outing on July 26th, held at the Beavercreek Golf Club.

The golf outing was a success, bringing in 132 golfers, raising more than $57,000 to support five Dayton-area UCH communities. Participants enjoyed a catered meal, fellowship, made connections and a few lucky attendees took home door prizes. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors and volunteers who supported this event.

On July 27th, The Trinity Community at Beavercreek continued the celebration with a Blessing Service, followed by a special ceremony where Ohio State Senator Bob Hackett and State Representative Brian Lampton delivered proclamations honoring the 50th anniversary. These events marked the beginning of a year filled with exciting activities and community engagement initiatives, reflecting our deep gratitude for the support we’ve received over the past five decades.

Throughout the year, we will be hosting a variety of events as part of our 50 Acts of Kindness campaign, designed to show our appreciation to the community. Highlights of this initiative include:
• Serving on the Beavercreek Advisory Board
• Hosting a Valentine’s party at the Beavercreek Senior Center
• Sponsoring luncheons and trips for senior centers
• Organizing an Easter Egg Hunt
• Holding bake sales, health fairs, and food truck events
• Organizing fun events like Trunk or Treat, Carnival Day, and Baby Goat Cuddles
• Celebrating holidays with special events, including a Veterans Day Luncheon and
Christmas dinner

These activities are designed to strengthen our bond with the community and provide joy and support to residents and neighbors alike.

“As we reflect on the past 50 years, we are grateful for the unwavering support of the Beavercreek community and the countless lives we have touched,” said Laura Farrell, Senior Executive Director of the community. “We look forward to continuing our mission of service, compassion, and community engagement for many years to come.”
