The Feb. 18 edition of The Marion Star included details about the United Church Homes renovations and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon-cutting with the staff of United Church Homes Inc. at their newly renovated office expansion. United Church Homes, a Marion-based nonprofit organization that provides health care and housing services to seniors, renovated the third floor of 163 E. Center St. “United Church Homes is committed to the revitalization of downtown Marion,” said the Rev. Kenneth V. Daniel, president and CEO, “and this project is part of a longer-range plan to be a good corporate citizen. We fulfill a critical mission in our work with seniors, and we’re poised to continue growing.”
